About the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation

It was out of this compassion, this dedication to improving the lives of others, that the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation was established. Tuscarawas County is a wonderful place to live, to work, to raise a family and to enjoy in later years. We have strong ties to our area’s history, excellent schools and endless compassion for one another. Over twenty years ago, the Foundation was developed as a philanthropic tool for area residents to use as a method to ensure their charitable giving wishes continue even after their death.

The Foundation is a community endowment fund that accepts monetary donations and bequests of any size. Those funds are managed by a volunteer board of community leaders and the investment income is used to support projects that will improve the lives of Tuscarawas County residents.

The Tuscarawas County Community Foundation prides itself on distributing its grant funds in a fair and equitable manner that benefits all corners of our county. Whether it’s support for a reading festival, advancing arts education in partnership with the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas, preserving our historical attractions, or providing educational scholarships, the foundation is committed to improving the lives of area residents.

There is no limit to the amount of good that we can do when we work together. There is no limit to how high we can reach when we set a common goal. There is no limit to the number of Tuscarawas County residents we will be able to help when we have your support. Please contact us for more information.
